Fallbrigade’s 2021 release “With You” is a breath of fresh air. The brother/sister duo really bring in a fun atmosphere to a song. This is the kind of music you just want to get up and dance to.
This song starts out with an acoustic guitar, a banjo and a light bass drum on all fours. Easy strumming as the vocals come in. The duo are complimenting each other with vocal tracks. The buildup to the chorus is slight, but you can feel the buildup with the bass drum getting slightly louder. The chorus comes in and everything gets fun. A big thump on the bass drum, the banjo really opens up and loud fun vocals. “I’m just better with you”.
This chorus really is fun. It’s almost hard not to jump out of your seat and dance to this. No really, I dare you, it will make your day. As I listen to more songs by Fallbrigade, I realize that this is just their style. Making people smile, dance, and have fun.
